If games cost at least 1/3 less then I wouldn't mind having just a digital license to the game. Even though I don't normally trade in games or resell them, I like to have the peace of mind that even if I made a purchase where I just plain don't like the game or it sucks, I have the ability to sell it and recoup some money.
If the games were a lot cheaper, then even if I were stuck with the game, I could accept that knowing it didn't cost me as much.
