With MS, you'll have a $500 box in your living room that allows you to rent stuff owned by other corporations for $60 a pop. Internet down for 24 hours? Oh well, MS has just removed your rental privileges. Think your publisher is going to allow you to play your favourite game 5 years from now? You better hope they do so out of their compassionate hearts, because there is nothing that will force them to. No thanks. I agree. The "ownership" in the end is what matters the most to me too.
