Nah, it's pretty cool. Discreet and standard. It will let everyone with a PS4 have a simple mic for chatting. The fact the DualShock 4 has a 1/8 3.5mm jack makes it very universal for any headset, for those who want stereo audio and/or use their own mic. PS eye will also have a mic on it if you prefer ear free.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
