You really believe that when people are spending 118 million dollar in April alone on a free game called puzzle and dragons won't have an affect on the rest of the games market? Its incredibly popular with the japanese..

even the wallstreet journal had a nice article on it about this one game beating nintendo..

It's a good move by Nintendo to grab this game for the 3DS. It's a perfect fit, too, with the dual screen and all. Nintendo should send staff over there and get this game out asap before the well has run dry.
