You cant say that X is niche. I showed the trailer to my brother who is a complete casual gamer, and he said it looked really awesome. And you never know how much a game will sell. You really seem like a cup half empty, kind of guy.

If you're trying to tell me that JRPGs aren't a niche kind of game type, you're definitely not aware of the state of the industry and have been living under a rock for the last decade. Your anecdotal episode with your brother doesn't in any way, shape or form give a representation of the market.

But don't take my words for it. We're on VGChartz. Just do some research on the last JRPG titles and see for yourself how most of them sell around the world. Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest series being the 2 exceptions. ^_-
