Also because Retro are the only studio Nintendo has that could push the consoles gfx, people want to see what they can do.

No, people listened to blatantly false rumors and set their expectations way too high. And Retro is defnitely not the only first-party studio that can push the hardware. I swear some people are literally trying to ignore X and its status as a first-party title.
