There was barelly anything new to get excited for, lacking such wow factor is not what I remember Nintendo for.

They sacrificed more power in the box to have a fancy tablet controller, and yet in the trailers they completely fail to mention any implementation of it at all ?

Also, this is second wave of software, there should be games showcasing a more decent level of graphics and physics, but appart of X that clearly seems like a next gen game, and mario kart 8 to a less degree, the software just looked... 360ish...


@bold I would add Bayonetta 2 to the nice list.

I don't member being excited for anything at the previous two E3's, but at this one we got first footage of Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, and Bayonetta 2. Before then, those games were merely confirmed to exist. To me, that's nearly equivalent to not saying anything about them at all.
