No doubt a large number of KH Fans are now on Nintendo systems, because that's where the games have been going lately. And it doesn't look particularly intensive (and there's the fact plenty of other games last gen went to the Wii despite it being far weaker relatively), so I would imagine a Wii U version would sell far better than a Xbone version.
And yes, it's silly going next-gen. Because if it launches next year you're going to have an install base of around 12mil compared to around 8x that if you include the previous gen (or double that if you include the Wii U).
