How are you comparing to Halo and GoW? Nintendo has been doing this for years and years.

Though I agree that 3D Mario can get a whole makeover like it normally does, we know that it will. We know that a full-fledged 3D Mario adventure is in the works, how could anyone think otherwise? It's in Nintendo's DNA.

Think of 3D World like another NSMB of sorts, it's not much different from last gen.

In the Gamecube era, in year 2, what were all the new IPs Nintendo came out with, tell me? In the N64 years? Of course Rare came out with all kinds of new IPs but that was Rare. They're gone we are over it. Other than them, Nintendo didn't create so many revolutionary new IPs like people are begging for, they stuck with their bread and butter with the rare new IP here and there. Well, they are offering the wonderful 101, that follows in Nintendo fashion to have a rare amount of new IPs.

The Wii bloom was a series of new IPs, but that was part of market expansion, Nintendo now has that market and is no longer expanding, they are just refining, and it all fits in their DNA. Nothing wrong here.

I have a very hard time believing that they can get away with small refinements in a market where the Wii U is selling so shit. It's tracking behind the Gamecube here in the States as it is. I doubt having to compete with the Xone and PS4 on top of the last gen consoles is going to help matters.
