If you wanted a whole new world for Mario then sure you didn't get it but you know you will and that's all you need to know. DKCR 2. Since when are sequels not new? What is it you want? X. How is this more new than a sequel to Donkey Kong Country? They are different games in different genres, sequels mean different things in these genres. Bayo 2, what's more new about X than this? What about the Gamecube for example was so much more new in its second year than for U? Man you've been a Nintendo fan for this long, this is how they roll.

I think things are different because of how much money and resources nintendo have at the ready, people expecting them to put them to use. I stopped being a core Nintendo fan half way through the wii generation, I stopped wanting for them to fit my needs for a diverse portfolio and just went somewhere else.
