DRM can mean a lot of things, and by just saying "DRM" people start to freak out and picture scenarios that are very unlikely to happen.

However to say "Sony: Online DRM up to publishers" alleviates those wild assumptions people tend to get when they over react.

As you can see from this very thread people are like sheep and start to freak out at the very slightest thing when it comes to breaking their harmony.

Basically. If I understand correctly, publishers won't be able to lock single-player content to an account the way it is on the Xbox One. They won't be able to restrict the resale of their game, only the online services available at-purchase.

Since I play pretty much exclusively 1-p games, this is a big win.
