That's a slight kick in the balls for everyone who have been whining about Live for some years. All in all, it doesn't matter for me since I don't play consoles online at all but it is a bit funny from where I'm sitting. 
Overall though, there's no doubt that the PS4 will be quite consumer friendly, how much this matters in the long run, only time will tell. I expect it will be a fairly big deal in Europe at least.
