I think they'll probably still launch at $499 but we'll probably see a price cut sooner rather than later as they likely have far more room to cut price.

We don't know anything about hard drive space tough. Xbox One could have 1tb or even more and PS4 500gb. If that's the case MS could bring a $399 500 gb model and a $499 1 tb model, maybe including 1 year of free gold in the latter. That way the don't even really change anything.
