That's SO COOL!

So if a console breaks within 2 years, MS is forced to replace the product? No wonder they need to sell it at a higher price to offset the cost of forced repairs.

Two years is probably if the hardware is proven to have a high failure rate.

In the US I believe by law we have a 1 year warranty. But MS extended it for years on 360 models had a high failure rate.

Yea, but I hated how MS handled their warrenty. I bought an extended warrenty knowing the 360 would have a high failure rate, and when my 360 RRoD they sent me a broken 360 to fix it, and then another first gen model. Had MS not forced retailers to send RRoD problems to them, I'd have had an HDMI model without bitching (I bitched at the store and got an Arcade Model , was so so happy).
