those things happened mostly because of mistakes from nintendo and sega. and that same strategy didn't stop nintendo from recaliming the dominance and almost killed sony.

I could say that Sony losing this Gen was mostly because of Sony own mistakes and not Nintendo/MS rights too. But that wouldn't be right.

The same applies to Sega and Nintendo in the 90s

 

 

Dominance ?

SNES,PS1 and PS2 were dominant. Wii wasn't.

Sure, the whole game design that made wii appealing wasn't nintendo making things right in any way. look, the only reason sony didn't get completely screwed this past gen was because of ps2's sucess. devs only bothered with ps3 because they took it for granted it would dominate. do you think the 360 would have the same support if it switched hardware with the ps3? NO, it would have been ignored.
