Or Blizzard thought "Sony" as a company was SOOOO passionate about gamers/gaming that they wanted to show the game and do not announce it at all for the 360. And this for free... riiiiight..

Well before this generation started, the method of courting 3rd Parties was based upon other means than how much money you could throw at them. It is no secret, Sony never paid for exclusive deals during PS1-2 era for games. They paid for advertising here and there, but that it. MS stepping into the game changed that dynamic, with their limitless coffers of cash its now a bidding war between the companies. Then again, Sony might still be able to wrangle deals with companies with other things than money. There is much benefit to align yourself with a company for one reason or another that doesn't entail cold hard cash.
