I was playing earlier today (when I should have been resting for work).  I got the shovel and fishing rod (most important tool at start in my opinion).  I will be on later tonight after work.  I believe I should be able to log on around 11-11:30 pm central.  You able to make it around then?  I haven't sold any of my fruit and I found 1 perfect fruit.  I shook all my peach trees so they will regrow but left them all down on the ground.  Donated a decent amount of fish and 4 fossils.  Can't wait for axe and bug net.  I'd like to stock up on your pears and chop down some reg trees and replace them with fruit trees (best way to do it at first because a tree will always grow where an original one did (or at least that is how it always used to be).  Got my first down payment (10k bells) paid off and work on house will start.

A few observations I made today- Red snappers don't pay as much as they used to (or at least I remember them being worth more, will look into but they still least 2k+ each)

You have to pay to recycle garbage that you get from fishing...  Not much but it reminds me of the City of Austin that loses money on its recycling program (considering they have to haul the recyclables down to San Antonio in less than 10 mpg trucks and other crap..., they were offered to have a plant built here and given decent money for the recyclables but there was supposedly insider dealing with politician and businessman so the deal fell through).  Anyways, I had a lot of fun and hopefully we can exchange fruit tonight or tomorrow.



I believe Central is an hour behind Eastern? If so I can definitely make it! Unfortunately, the whole fruit swap thing didn't cross my mind when I first started out, so I sold most of me fruits. Only have 2 Pears left. D:

Of course I could always just time travel, but I kinda wanna wait a while before doing that jazz. As for tools, I only got the shovel and bug net. Fishing is definitely my favorite activity so it's major shame I can't get one yet, especially since one of my neighbors wants fish.
