For me this is not just about MS or Sony. Its about the entire industry.
In my view, its better to be vocal to practices that can be abused, if left unchecked. The things that are happening now maybe unavoidable due to countless of reasons but that doesn't mean we should just be completely compliant when its becoming somewhat unfair for our rights as consumers. At least the industry knows we are attentive and hopefully will do the adjustments necessary to make things work out.
I know this is a business but the gaming community is comprised of people, not machines. People that made them rich and famous through out the years.
