A socialist place like Sweden on the other hand wouldn't let its people go around unable to buy a game or two because of DRM. :) Even Cuba is a nice place full of nice people... despite the years isolation, sanctions and overall poor living standards brought on by its northern neighbour. Castro took care of his people, the best he could...but they are not going to get any gaming down there, DRM free or otherwise. I myself grew up in a socialist country and had we Atari2600 and Sega Mastery System same time as everyone else. It was awesome... but then we started killing each other. |
Oh they don't need to tell me I've lived in China, nice people but if your not a Han citizen then your 3rd class citizen. (Unless your a Foreign student, tourist or investor). Their economic growth is fueled by the people who works in the factories for lower than normal wages and some of them are not exactly safe for your health. No instant access to social media becaused its blocked and although there is gaming, its looked upon as an illness given by the west and is only useful if used for propaganda. Although I enjoyed my stay in China, there are just somethings that will raise your eye brows which would have already caused controversy or discussion in a Democratic nation.
and I just realized I'm so off topic right now -slumps head on table- I will leave you guys be now.
