Watched the video and at least he is presenting a coherent point of view, unlike some others...

But listen people, if you wanted the world to work like this guy says it should, you should have voted for communism or socialism as the governing rule of your country.

There is really no room for consideration when it comes to little Timmy and his poor family in capitalism. People do things for profit. Games get made for profit. Gamestop exists to make a profit...

Otherwise pretty much everything this guy is saying is going to contradict itself when next gen market doubles current gen sales, despite "DRM".

Oh no bro, socialism or communism is worse, it just looks equal on paper. The great electronic wall of China is the worlds biggest and baddest DRM you will ever see. Heck, we can't even call it DRM because you do not have any "rights" to begin with. Lol

China is a rough example but still isnt as bad as they make you believe over here.

A socialist place like Sweden on the other hand wouldn't let its people go around unable to buy a game or two because of DRM. :)

Even Cuba is a nice place full of nice people... despite the years isolation, sanctions and overall poor living standards brought on by its northern neighbour. Castro took care of his people, the best he could...but they are not going to get any gaming down there, DRM free or otherwise.

I myself grew up in a socialist country and had we Atari2600 and Sega Mastery System same time as everyone else. It was awesome... but then we started killing each other.
