Watched the video and at least he is presenting a coherent point of view, unlike some others...

But listen people, if you wanted the world to work like this guy says it should, you should have voted for communism or socialism as the governing rule of your country.

There is really no room for consideration when it comes to little Timmy and his poor family in capitalism. People do things for profit. Games get made for profit. Gamestop exists to make a profit...

Otherwise pretty much everything this guy is saying is going to contradict itself when next gen market doubles current gen sales, despite "DRM".

I think youll find our goverments are Democratic, not capatalist. And as a Democracy it is made up of parts Captalist, Socialist and many others. His points are extremly valid. I may get band for this but i really pity you and anyone that think making a buck is more important than doing what is morally or socially responsible.

And I really pitty you if you think that providing cheap videogames for everyone is a moral and social responsibility.

No i believe letting companies steam roll over your consumer rights because your rich enough that it doesnt effect you in this case is socially irresponcible, lets just hope a right you do care about isnt taken away from you one day. If your defending MS and xbox one cos yoru a fanboy just say so, but dont try and defend the errosion of people rights.

People who buy games dont have to be "rich enough"  to do so but  intelligent enough to be able to live within their means and include gaming as one of their hobbies. And if they really can't afford them, they are probably better off...as they will do something productive with their life. I mean look at this guy who shot this video. Videogames clearly ruined his life.

As far as me being a fanboy, peoples consumer rights and all the other stuff you said after...is just nonsence that makes you look like a hypocrite.  You are getting worked up and attacking other members around here because they don't have your point of view about the future videogames. Youre actually stepping on my own consumer right to buy what I want  by telling me not to buy the Xbox...

The bottom line is that I'm not telling anyone to buy an Xbox. Go buy a console of your choice and mind your own business. I plan to do the same.
