Soo tell me if the average gamer is between the ages of 14 - 30, tell me who in that age Bracket isn't above middle class? Cause as the majority stands that age group is one of the poorest in the world. Are you higher then Middle Class?(rhetorical) cause i sure as hell am not, and i'm not some idiot workin a minimum wage, but im not living comfortably either. He is right with this economy being the way it is, it's VERY hard to have a good life and enjoy video games. And also he has a very good point about when he was young with how he would have never discovered certain games if wasnt able to borrow or rent them, I felt like he was speaking for me because in that sense some of my most favorite games I discoverd were from friends letting me borrow them and also goin down to the Store and renting some of the Just released games. And I am pretty sure you have found Some good games AND some bad ones when you rented or borrowed them, so really it is so beneficial to keep things the way they are. |
Same with me, I got my first NES system because my dad was able to pick it up used for 100 dollars with 10 games. That is the only reason I ever got to play Zelda and Mario when I was a kid. If we cut out used games or loaning and renting then we are cutting out a large group of people that will one day become paying gamers, like i am today. The used game market/renting is all part of the ecosystem, take away part of it and there’s a good chance it's going to crash.
Don't worry about him, he'll side with MS no matter what they do.
