A lot of people are irrationally defending MS, so they won't bring up anything that diminishes their argument. I'm also tired of the "it doesn't effect me" argument. Such an apathetic stance leads to the future erosion of consumer protections. I'm hoping Sony doesn't follow suit but I'm not confident in them either. They've proved with the PS3 that they are willing to negatively alter a consoles functionality well after the purchase has been made.
