1) Don't get this abstract level style at all (candy level looks like straight from Earthworm Jim 2). Nothing like cartoon vibe of Sonic 3 and Sonic Generations. 2D style gameplay looks broken thanks to physics (similar to Sonic 4?).
2) Graphics looks really outdated, nothing like gameplay in trailer. On par with this generation sonic games (and this is suppose to be Wii U powerhouse, Sonic 06 sure was for PS3 and Xbox 360).

2. Who said this was "supposed to be Wii U powerhouse" game? The look is emulating the Genesis games, just in 3D, it aims for simple. And Sonic '06 looks crap by 360/PS3 standards.
