What I don't understand is this family sharing thing, does my entire family have to be using the same gamertag for it to work?

No. You have to give your family members permission in the parental controls. MS doesn't tell me what to do or how to play my game. If I buy a game and can hold it in my hand do not tell me where it can be used. As long as I dont replicate it and sell it STFU.

But lending it to people who won't spend a dime on gmaes which developers spent put their sweat and tears is a crime. They need to make a living just liek we do so each time a friend or anyone that borrows a game and finishes the sp campaign and then plays multiplayer for free hurts them. Just look how many good devleopers studio shut down because they didn't sell anough cOpies of teh game? . The used market and secondhand market in my opinion should be closed down for good a swe need to support gaming develoeprs if we wanat to game 50 years down the track. However i do beleive that if they go down this road ,, then shoould reduce teh price of the game a bit to make it more enticing to buy.

Dude...I am not advocating piracy or anything. The right of ownership of a game which separates console gaming from PC gaming majorly is that you have the right to do as you please with your one copy of your game whether it be lending it out, collecting or reselling as long as you do not break the contract of recreating the product and selling it at a profit. There is nothing wrong with lending out a product. Gamestop will definitely treat Wii U and PS4 gamers better than Xbox One ownersn now that the Azure network has been put into place. They'll put on a straight face and say everything is ok, but once their bottom line starts dropping watch how much they lower your credit and increase prices on games. At this point you might as well just buy an Xbox One game new every time. Theres no way the price of anything is going to be reduced digital or not if the physical copies are still in demand. If they do they will have to have the hardware with HDD space.

Actually  when you buy a game, you never really own it. This kind of stuff hav ebene on for a long time  but we didn't notice it until now as now it will be monitored really closely. When you buy a game, you are only paying fro teh license to use and thats it. The game is not yoru still,, you just bought tehe permission to plaay it. As you can see above, it was happening behign our noses this gen and even on sony consoles. So you can't just say MS is th eeveil one when it also occurs on a sony console. It just that itr wasn't really monitored closely. Based on the reveal from MS you can see it wasn't MS decsion to do it as the fee and how you can share is entirely up to publishers much like what sony said in their reveal. Theres a problem lendign a product if you milliosn of peopel aroudn world rely on just borrowing their friends game without having to pay adime for it and enjoyign the benefits of a sp campaign and multiplayer. That my friend is piracy not matter how you try to twist the fact. Where i am from , vendors sell fake games and peopel buy them and since Xbox 360 uses DVds its easy to borrow a game from yoru friend and burn it to a blank dvd and play it. Have done that when i ws younger on the ps1 and ps2.
