You believe Sony will simply look at Activision, EA, and Ubisoft and tell them no? Sony filed the watermark patenr for a reason and its obvious. In fact Sony themselves have admitted it. They said pre owned will be up tp the publisher. Same as MS. They also said PS4 wont require online.
Its obvious publishers will have the option of utilizing the watermarked discs and that most will indeed use them

No offense but I got my answer to the whole DMR from Sony back at the reveal when they said it was up to the publishers. Whenever Sony finally announces the plans with the PS4 then I will gladly accept it obviously. I'm hoping Sony doesn't follow what Microsoft did in any form or fashion but until I get a clear cut answer I refuse to go out right and deny that the PS4 won't have any sort of DMR, sorry I like clear cut answers not half baked answers that sony execs have been giving. Just my opinion on the matter you don't have to like it.
