Sony could possibly stop you from playing used games

What Sony needs to do is point out exactly how third party DRM will work on their console which is obvious by now that it would be an online client because if Sony doesnt lockdown the console they must do it themselves. Some people just want Sony to be as bad as MS no matter what they say.

And that's exactly the point I made when I first quoted you. If all 3rd parties do it, that means all games (minus 1st parties) will have DRM. We are all clear that Sony won't use DRM themselves, but 3rd parties won't think the same way. 

The other point is that Sony isn't doing anything to stop 3rd party publishers (for now at least). Sure MS is worst, but Sony isn't the white knight of gaming either.

All Sony and Nintendo need to do is stay out of it and keep this between publishers and consumers and if the consumers dont respond with dollars it was all for nothing. Sony said it themselves that they are with the consumer but they are also with the publisher. MS has made it loud and clear they are not with their consumers at all. After Sony said that its kind of obvious they respect their consumers more than MS especially after the response at the beginning of this gen when many of their consumers switched to MS for their multiplats.
