This has always been an issue for me as I always have to buy one copy , eg. Dead Island 2 , and then rent another one or two copies so I can enjoy the new game with my kids at the same time. The hole 24 hours play without an internet connection is absolutely not a problem for me as I would freak out if the internet went down for even an hour (which rarely ever happens). These license terms seem complete acceptable to me. |
Thanks for your perspective. I don't get all the doom and gloom - but mostly it's from people that would never get an Xbox One anyway.
I like that I can travel – and just bring my X1! No need to lug any games – just like my Xbox or Amazon Video Library – it’s all conveniently tucked into the cloud. Plus, you already need an internet connection to do much anyway on modern console.
Sure the 24 hours connection sounds like a pain, but I can’t think of the time in the last 5-10 years where it would come up.
