It sounds like a timed exclusive from what has been stated. But its a strange one, because if it is, just like other games that have come out late on the PS3... they haven't done that well a year later (remember Bioshock 1 not doing great etc but could be wrong.)
From MS point of view its a good buy-in because from the PR point of view of "These guys are those that made cod"... but personally i think it loses some of that benefit from being an MMO type game. I personally think they would have gained more from funding a single player game than an MMO. Though i have to admit i am pretty jaded on MMO games these days, just cannot find the excitement like i used to with Ultima and my early days on WOW.
It's going to be interesting to see how this unfolds though.
