I was actually worried I wouldn't like their shift further into cinematic set-piece gaming as they moved from Jak -> Uncharted, so much so that I didn't play Uncharted 1 until 2011.

I was wrong. They know how to craft a very enjoyable game.

I also feel their older work, that I've played, has aged extremely well. I was playing Crash: Warped recently (hey, check my avatar!) and it's impressive how well it's held up in gameplay terms. I also think the Jak games are still great today, as evidenced by reviews. Though, 1 & 3 held up better than 2.

I do yearn for them to make another character-centric 3D "platformer" again; but I'm very much looking forward to The Last of Us.

True, Crash is my favorite action adventure platformer of all time, Sonic is my second and then Mario. They can make another platformer if they wish, because they have two teams, but they would have to drop Uncharted for a little bit.
