For this generation at least:

Naughty Dog >>> Kojima Pro (Who couldn't even finish Rising themselves without Kojima) > Santa Monica

Santa Monica has helped games like Journey and such but I mostly took its work on GoW3 into account.

Rising is a piece of $hit really; dont take that game into consideration.  But still, I am talking about them in general; not just this gen PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3; based on WHAT I LIKE :]

For me MGS4 is better than Uncharted 2; and on the same level as U3 and GOW3.   I need my games to have badass characters with great story (obviously great gameplay too); and MGS4 and GOW3 have those 2.

But as I said based on what I like.
