The current Kinect has an infa red LED - and it's bright enough from most human eyes to see it for the first few inches from the kinect. In another post I talk about how I get annoyed that everything had an LED these days. And it's even more annoying as some of them blink at a very fast rate - that I can see. I’ve realize I’m more sensitive to them than most people. I’m so thankful that fad of everyone wearing a blinking blue-tooth in their ear is over.
