a) The casual market has gone. It is a one hit wonder and people won't buy anything new for a few years/until they bin and forget about their Wii's.

People forgot about their Wiis a long time ago.

b) Compared to Kinect 2 and the tablet/phone market, they can't win with peripherals anymore. That time has gone. Kinect hasn't delievered the software though, Nintendo has the advantage in that regard. They could bundle this new peripheral with every Wii U.

c) They have a fit board.....which works with a wiiU. No one cares anymore. Been there, done that - next. I'm talking about something new, not another fit board, I thought that one was clear............. .... ... . . .                                                                .  .

a) According to whom? I don't know anyone who has shelved theirs yet. They still play with it. I think they play more with their tablets, actually.

b) What do you mean by "the software"? As a dev toy it is far better and more versatile than a touchpad, and is Kinect 2 not coming with every nextbox anyway?

Kinect software has failed to impress, even the casuals are getting tired of it. It'll have the same effect as Wii vs Wii U. All those Kinect gamers will keep playing on their old 360 since they won't see enough reason to shell out $500+ to get a new console plus new Kinect 2.0 games.

c) Well like what? You are just saying "something new that would be amazing!"..but that  might not exist. We have to talk about practical realities, not hypothetical/imaginary cash cows that

It's Nintendo, they can come up with something, just saying.
