The sales of Wii U are dire. The discontinuing of a low-storage model or a price cut is not dire at all. Every system does it. I love a good price drop bomb at e3. My favorite is the 1996 drop of the PS1 by $100 to steal the show. Like the Wii U, it was 1-year in. I think the timing could be perfect.
