Agni's Philosophy a PS4 or multiplat game and not only a tech demo?

Almost all the areas in Versus have pretty much been based off of the real world (Tokyo, Venice, American gas stations) while Agni looked like a mix of modern, sci-fi, and fantasy. Not really the same.

How is that not signature Final Fantasy? To have an advance modern society in one city than more ancient culture in the next. They usually have these diverse set ups in their worlds.
