Exactly my thought, but I think that is a good thing. The original Gears is one of the most immersive, tense, tactical MP games of this gen imho. Something the sequels went away from imho. I love the slow moving around each level trying to set up the next encounter and the tactics that look to be involved. Only a couple of worries: Bullet sponges, even with weapons that seem like they should be poweful. Overall though the MP is looking pretty amazing. |
You might want to watch the video again and pay a little more attention to how many bullets people are actually taking. They are not bullet sponges. The combat is also much different than in Uncharted, which was a simple hitting mechanic with one hit capability. Last of Us look much more complex in melee.
Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
