That's the price of the components, the cost of the different parts of the console. Then you have to add the manufacturing cost (someone has to put them together), the cost of shipping the boxes around the world and the part of the final price that goes to the store.

And of course there are other costs like marketing, R&D, etc that also increase the final price.

For instance, WiiU's BOM was rumored to be $180, the console is sold for $300 and Nintendo loses money on each one.
