Thanks for your long explanation. I have to admit that I viewed the split in a negative way. I was mainly upset with the decay of the game database on VGC in favor of Gamewise. I've only read half of the op but will now finish the rest. I gave up on keeping track of my game collection on VGC due to the stagnant database. I want to like Gamewise but I've had a hard time understanding why I need to go to the site. Thanks for creating VGC and I hope that I eventually find a need to log onto Gamewise (maybe to continue my game collection tracking although I'd rather continue it on VGC).
