well i thought so too! but it turns out its an niffty feature, I mean the game is scary as hell, U dont have super human ability to survive like drake, couple of unexcpected blows will knock u down. If you wanna be daredevil, play in a dark room with headphones, on Hardmode with listen mode off..

That's exactly how I played the demo. Well I played on normal on my first playthrough, won't play on normal again as the survival aspect lacks then (gathered 16 bullets at one point, and had 6 in the revolver) then only on hard. 

The deml fragment was a bit scary but not very much to be honest and I am really easily scared while playing games.

One thing I may change before the game releases is headphones, planing to get the Playstation stereo headset, need to do a thread about it finally.
