PC warranties usually have a price attached to them. (Well, for Futureshop or Bestbuy anyways) And even if it did break down, throw another $500 on that (rounding up, really lazy) and it's still cheaper than the Home Theatre PC and slightly more expensive than the Gaming PC (By $50 or so, again really lazy). |
While a general warranty on a console is a plus and for something on the PC, you'd have to buy something like a Dell (or another name/store brand like that). I believe the only reason there is that 3 year warranty is because of the terrible RROD thing and even then, the warranty only covers a RROD.
Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm recalling from memory here. Didn't Microsoft extend their warranty and do all of this stuff just because of the RROD?
