He didn't mention attacking any place or even threaten to kill anyone. No, this shouldn't have been ignored, but a simple investigation would lead them to find that this kid is no threat to national security. No criminal record. No terrorist ties. No mental health issues as far as we know. The only thing he is guilty of is writing a bad rap. What happened to free speech? |
Well I for one dont believe that those were even rap lyrics. And like I said before if they were, that was god awful. And free speech doesnt apply when you resort to threatening the safety of others. The line "im gonna be famous for rapping" doesnt even fit the context of the rest of his statement, like he threw that in there just to save face. Regardless of whether or not they found weapons at his home lets not paint this kid as being an innocent victim. I said before he doesnt deserve 20 years in jail but to act as if this is just a matter of free speech is very naive. He made a public threat on a social network IMPLYING that he would commit actions more severe than what happened in Boston just because he had "haters". And he would beat all murder charges because he would be famous for rapping, yea great kid there.
