I cannot believe you don't have any issues with this or cant see the guy is openly showing he has some mental issues. In a lot of states threatening to kill someone can be very serious. I am glad the POS is in jail and I hope he stays there. If he is released and does something stupid, everyone who signed to get him out should be held accountable for any damage he does. |
And what if he does get imprisoned when he wasn't going to do anything? You've just wasted twenty years of an innocent man's life, guilty for nothing more than writing horrible lyrics.
The American justice system doesn't work on the premesis of "well, you might have gone ahead and done this, so we'll lock you up just to be safe." If there is no definitive evidence that he was planning a terrorist attack (which there clearly isn't), then this is a horrible abuse of the justice system.
Do these lyrics warrant an investigation? Perhaps. But, as VGKing mentioned, it's already been shown that he has no criminal record, no links to terrorist groups, and no mental health issues. Putting him in jail for this is utterly ridiculous, especially for twenty years.
