Retro Studios and Naughty Dogs

Maybe Rockstar, Bioware, Nintendo and even Retro are better in what they are doing. That I do not know, but Naughty dog has a special place in my heart thats for sure.

This highly depends on how you define milking, because Uncharted has seen 4 releases in 4 years.

My point was, they had the guts to something else besides Uncharted. Maybe they will do Uncharted 4 that I do not know, but for now I appreciate them taking some risks. 

I see, but I believe Naughty Dog is more in charge of what they do than Retro is.  I think Retro is just assigned things by Nintendo so they work on existing IPs.  However, Metroid Prime is an excellent example of Retro Studios taking risks.  I'm not trying to downplay Naughty Dog, I'm just trying to clear things up when the word "milking" came into it because it's a misused word.
