This is incorrect. For example if you sell your cd to a used music store the resale of that cd collects a royalty, Same with used book, and other intellectual property. If you redistribute media property for the purpose if resale a royalty is collected, except on games. The concept that a games is more like a table than a song is ridiculous. When you buy the game you are not buying the rights to the game, you don't own it, you own the right to use it, and if you sell it the liscence under which you purchased the game is removed and the new seller is responsible for royalties.
Let pirates do what they want, you don't cave into to theft by allowing it to happen you stand against it like any other wrong.
