I think the 360 controller looks much nicer as well, but it is possible that the PS4 controller won because the changes made to it can actually enhance your gameplay experience compared to last generation, meanwhile with the XBone controller it appears to add nothing new.

Except for shoulder trigger rumble. Which is a neat idea.

I agree and can't to get that controller for my PC. 

They also said that devs can set the resistance on the triggers too, which is cool.

 

My point was more towards features that could allow for new gaming possibilities. DS4 added the simple touchpad which could be quite beneficial. I hope to see some of the possbilities at E3.
