I was going to do that with Wii U, but as launch came closer it was evident that Nintendo was going to supply a lot of consoles and the eBay demand wasn't there. So I just gave my two pre-orders to a couple friends who wanted one but didn't pre-order.
I may do it with one or both of the upcoming consoles, but it will depend on the general feel of their launch.
