I've already read your other answer and in the post you replied to and cut I made mention of why I don't care online pass does what it does. Whether it's from Sony, EA, or whoever, the online pass restricts online only. Not single player. If I want to play online then I'll buy new or buy the online pass. However, if I'm not interested in playing the online, or 20 years from now when online to PSN or XBL are no longer available. I can still play the single player content.
The only online pass that I'm not a fan of is on Alice Madness Returns where the online pass actually locks single player content, the original Alice, to where it's only playable on the account that has the pass. I've refused to buy Alice Madness Returns for that very reason. Microsoft has implemented this for all of their games on the Xbox One. Because I'm a collector, I refuse to purchase the console.
If you look at the first post on this thread, if there's any third party passes that lock out playing the game on another account. The game is essentially worthless, because single player in the future will be unplayable on a different machine. So online passes, because of online, I don't care about, but single player content I do. There's no way to preserve single player content when it's completely locked down.
