Oh, you meant disk swaps when intending to play a new game? That is hardly an issue

It is not an issue if there is no better option, but I can't see anyone with semi working internet saying:

"Yes I'd like to swap disks for the rest of my life every time i'd like to play a game and risk loosing the ability to play the game if they scratch. I don't want to authenticate once with Sony's server over the internet and be done with disk swapping forever"

A blu-ray disk scratching? That's something I've yet to see or hear about.

I don't see anyone with only a semi working internet (or, heck, someone with a very bad or no internet at all) saying, when their internet goes down: "Man, at least I never have to swap disks. Better no games for a while than swapping disks like once a week."

i have semi working internet and i say that. like i said in my other quote of you, a verification will be maybe 10kb in data or let's say 500kb, why should i ever even recognize that?

and if i would have a problem with used games market, internet connection for updates, game installs and all of that i would be never a steam user. but i really like steam and i believe you as well. but steam is horrible if you think about that.
