What's wrong with people complaining about the framerate? The framerate in Mario Kart Wii depended on the number of players. If you don't like 6 players at 30fps just play with 4 people at 60 frames... That's no reason not to put the feature in. They are not going to artificially reduce the framerate to 30fps for less than 6 players.
I'm all for 6 player support and I want them to have a Mario Kart + Gamepad bundle.
