This is really interesting. Kinect 1.0 has been used in all sorts of interesting scientific ways never before considered- 3D mapping caves to see changes over time, in hospitals so doctors can look at records and Xrays without touching (contaminating) anything, to help with rehab, and even notice which kids might have developmental disabilities like autism.

Kinect 2.0 is a major leap forward. I predict it will be a major change in the way we do things in the next few years. So it’s abilities should be exponentially increased. What an exciting future.

Kudos to Microsoft for their amazing innovation!



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
